BOB WUERTZ - Director and Founder

Artistic Director, Bob Wuertz, has been active in choral music for over thirty years.  Possessing a Masters’ Degree in Choral Music, his work has been extensive.  His Specialty in men’s voices emerged in 1997 in the San Diego area with his participation in several men’s choruses and the development of smaller jazz/pop men’s ensembles.  He produced an award winning CD with his group In aChord.  A stickler for detail, his vitality, the emotion of dynamic variance and the color of nuance create the optimal vocal blend and presentation.  His ensembles have received critical acclaim from audiences throughout the United States.

Bob’s true passion lies in music arranging.  He began honing his craft arranging music for In aChord, a small men’s ensemble he founded in September 2000.  Desiring to expand the scope and variety of music available for men to sing, Bob began to work on the creation of his online music business. Named Third Inversion Music Publishing and launching in the fall of 2005, the site will cater specifically to the needs of the men’s choral organizations.  It will provide a unique inventory of musical arrangements spanning generations of favorite pop and jazz titles with new selections added monthly.  Ancillary services will include workshops and clinics providing specific, creative solutions for men’s choral groups.  Bob is thrilled to deliver an exciting and diverse product in this niche market.  For a sneak preview of his website, visit www.ThirdInversionMusic.com

In addition to hi arranging talents and outstanding reputation as choral coach and clinician, Bob is an accomplished pianist, accompanist, organist and vocal soloist.  Presently he is Director of Music at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church and staff accompanist at Mesa College.
